New Iraq question: Now that a majority of people think it was a mistake (according to their polls) what would you say to pepople who think this, many of whom supported you?

1. We are better off without Saddam.

2. We are making progress in helping Iraqis defend themselves. Over the next year we will be advancing our plan for this. Some fine units have been stood up so far, problem will be solved when Iraqis see their own people defending them.

Next question returns to inaugural address and incorporates Rice's testimony and how "we're" (the press corps) "confused".

Are other countries now on notice?
