This is more significant than everyone thinks. In 2003 the Dem Governor vetoed a law requiring Photo ID at the polling place claiming it placed an unfair burden on poor minorities.

Several other Dem Govenors were successful in eliminating the photo ID requirement in their states. Hopefully this citizen activism catches on like wildfire.

How did they deal with the offer, freely made, by many of us to cover the cost of ten minorities voters one time?

Of course, they better convince me that they neither smoke, drink, have cable TV or use fast food, since then it no longer is a matter of "unfair burden" but more a matter of lifestyle "choice". I am Pro-Choice.
