This article nails it. In my opinion the mainstream media has become the biggest obstacle to long-term peace and security both for Americans and the world.

I believe Richard Nixon nailed this long ago,
Let us understand: North Vietnam [terrorists] cannot defeat or humiliate the United States. Only Americans can do that.

I agree, I think the mainstream media has been committing treason. Just think what could happen to Rather, Jennings, Brokaw, Williams and those jerks at CNN in some countries.

What do the terrorists want?

America failing and withdrawing from Iraq.

What do the DLM (Defeated Liberal Media) want?

America failing and withdrawing from Iraq.

End of argument.

What would one have to do to actually commit treason these days ? I'm serious . It seems to me it would be close to IMPOSSIBLE to be found guilty of it . Any input ? I mean if Ted Kennedy isn't a traitor I'll eat my hat ( Actually my buddies theory on Kennedy is that he has serious dirt on a LOT of people over the years and that why he gets a pass on ANYTHING he does ..hummm)

I am convinced that at some point, you will see military elements deciding to take care of this matter into their own hands ( whcih I do not endorse, BTW ).

Thoams Sowell:

One of the biggest American victories during the Second World War was called "the great Marianas turkey shoot" because American fighter pilots shot down more than 340 Japanese planes over the Marianas islands while losing just 30 American planes. But what if our current reporting practices had been used back then?

The story, as printed and broadcast, could have been: "Today eighteen American pilots were killed and five more severely wounded, as the Japanese blasted more than two dozen American planes out of the sky." A steady diet of that kind of one-sided reporting and our whole war effort against Japan might have collapsed.

Sowell nails the SOB MSM.

Answer to the question: "Has the Main Stream Media been committing Treason?"

YES

WW2 was interesting. Imagine if Bush & Co. put out posters like FDR's cabal?

Do the MSM bastards realize that our enemies watch them very closely and take great joy and encouragement from their anti American "reporting"? Again , I pose the question , what would be concidered TREASON in modern America right now ? ( I guess I'm directing that question to the libs more or less)

Koppels Nightline is right now digging up Iraqis who claim things were better under Saddam. He (Koppel) is whining that some don't have electricity. Some here in south florida still don't either, from the 4 hurricanes we got hit with. So, I guess we can say things were better under Lawton Chiles.Former Governor. Pre-hurricanes.

The MSM would be creaming in their jeans if anything depicted in those posters happened.
