We delivered over 5 million votes for George W. Bush, even though he made NOT ONE public campaign appearance.

For the same reason he didn't attend the NAACP convention; that's why.

Babs can spew all she wants because she knows she's got the safest seat in the Senate. We're just seeing the "real deal", since she no longer needs to worry about reelection.
