WASHINGTON Just a few weeks into the new congressional session, many are beginning to wonder aloud: "What's up with Barbara Boxer?"
The first week of the session, the California Democrat led the Senate challenge over certifying the Ohio presidential vote, citing irregularities.
In the end, she stood alone against certification, with 74 of her colleagues including Massachusetts Sen. Edward Kennedy, New York Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton and 33 other Democrats favoring the count.
Last week, Boxer was all over Condoleezza Rice at her confirmation hearing to be President Bush's new secretary of state. Boxer all but called Rice a liar over her statements leading up to the war in Iraq as Bush's national security adviser.
Lookie here, Newbie....I recently MOVED inland from your horrendously ugly and run-down socialist Santa Monica and the 'glorious west side' to get back to the United States; I could no longer relate to that style of living.
Coastal California deserves absolutely nothing in the way of support from Bush....nothing.
Your post number 60. Ms. Boxer can't even look her in the eye.
Resorting to Christine Gregoire?
Using pols who haven't even won, to deliver the Democratic counterpoint to President Bush's weekly radio address?(!)
I have one word to describe that tactic.
L-A-M-E!
Fine, that's absolutely fine. We can have this discussion any way you would like. For now, we'll just enjoy your pretty words and your wonderful attitude.
If so, it's another brilliant achievement by Rove.
Boxer puts the worst possible face on the Democrat party.
If Dems were smart they would shorten her leash and muzzle her.
She's too old for that .. it's got to be dementia
correct. The Rep senators are a bunch of weak girlie-men. I have ZERO respect for most Rep Congressman. They have no idea the true meaning of this great Republic, or of the spirit of Liberty the Founders cherished. Modern politicians are contemptible because they are part of an evil profession (legal). Rice is a wonderful woman and if I was in Congress, Boxer would have long been put in her place. We need Warriors in Congress not the small minded fools we have now.
Happy to see you accede.
Thanks for that link. I thought it was very interesting. Who is the writer?
If I could recall the witch I would! I believe she hates this country, hates all Republicans , and at this point today, I'm starting to believe she even hates her own party. She can't believe she is doing the RATS any good.Maybe she wants to go with the green party or socialist party. Who knows? Maybe she's just plain lost her mind, not that she ever had one.
And the Republicans instead of answering her tirades, slink away with their tails between their legs like whipped dogs.
If I had been Dr. Rice I would have told her to kiss my royal ass.
Oh, that hurts. That really hurts. Hopefully the courts will throw the imposter out soon.
Glass house, stones, etc.
LOL
Jerry: Cat fight with Raquel Welch!
She will henceforth and forever be known as "the Wicked Witch from the West".
"skilled politician"? my foot. She is an embarrassment of the first degree, courtesy of the California's morons who voted for her.
On behalf of the few of us who tried to unseat her, I will offer my deepest regrets to the rest of America for sending this Senate seat warmer to represent the great State of California.
It is a crying shame that out of 80+ Million Californians, we ended up with this joke...
This Boxer freak is a liar and a woman scorned. She has illusions of grandeur, is mentally ill and likely needs an exorcism.
But, I am not worried, as she has no credibility, is obviously stupid, exemplifies the Peter Principal and her heart (if she has one) will likely burst within the next couple of years.
I wouldn't like to visit San Francisco, because I remember what it was like before it got weird. So, when this slug finally does lay down for the dirt nap, I won't be able to urinate on her grave, instead, I will have to settle with going outside and taking a leak in a southerly direction.
I think.... "it's the thought that counts".
