"Old Europe" is certainly suffering from an inferiority complex. Would you believe that Poland and the Baltics enjoy making fun of France and Germany.

They may have fun for a while... But as the "New Europe" is getting slow to materialise, they may risk to get marginalised.
Somehow it looks like that the EU and Russia are much more important for each other than get an argument over Ukraine.
Ukraine needs at least 5-10 years to get a chance to join, and by then Russia will enjoy a special status there...
