It is easily adopted by bigots today to fit this new religious group accused of being all liars "Al-Taqiyah" .
Replace Muslim for Jew, blame for 9/11 for blame for the cruxifiction...a couple other changes- how much easier could it be?
The middle ages were a high time for religious bigotry. Nothing's really changed but the names.

I agree with you here, the muslim is not signing a lie in taking the oath of alligence, and there may be nothing that comes up where there is a question of duty to G-d or duty to country. When and if a contradiction occurs then it will be time to decide. If the issue is to perform an act of treason, while believing this is alligence to Allah, then this will create the conflict between the oath and the act of treason. A traitor will choose one way, and a man true to his beliefs will follow his oath. You will never get the traitor to confess in advance, and the non-traitor will have no problem with the oath.

Then we wonder why they turn on their fellow soldiers and kill them in their tents. If I had been the parents of those killed, I would have screamed bloody murder at this insane policy.

Regretably, yes I do. Mainly because I refuse to be a dhimmi. See http://www.dhimmitude.org/. Doubtless not all muslims would be "bad masters," but masters they intend to be - one way or another. We tolerate them, but in a majority situation they would not tolerate us.
They already lie regarding their oath. Lying for Allah, rule one in Islam. There should be zero tolerance for Islamic immigration.
When they get anywhere near a majority they will use force. Take a look at the middle east and how islam spread there. It USED to be Christian (the ME). It is just not possible to trust them.
No one is "forcing" any muslim to become a citizen, so it would seem to nullify the advice.

But Sharia does not permit secular law. Thus one cannot both abide by Sharia and uphold the Constitution of the United States - they are in existential conflict with one another.
What is clear to the imam, the Muslim asking the question, and to me - but not to you - is that the imam is advising the questioner to follow the Islamic doctrine of taqiyya, or dissimulation, the essence of which is to lie to infidels to gain advantage over them.
You need to understand a) what Sharia is; b) what the end goal of Islam is; and c) the doctrine of taqiyya.
What you are putting forth is perfectly reasonable, in ignorance of what these things mean. However, it is very wrong to the point of being suicidal. When you understand the implications of the above, you will realize that to give any quarter whatsoever to Islam is to send more of our own countrymen to their deaths.
I strongly encourage you to educate yourself about Islam - but remember, when you read statements aimed at a non-Muslim audience, they are practicing taqiyyah.

And where do you see the Imam tell the guy to do that?
I could find passages in the bible that say wage war on the enemy and kill them. I can recall a story where the Jews had the gentiles circumcise themselves, then killed them while they were incapacitated. Would you say that Christians and Jews rush out to do that today?
An islamofascist wacko will do everything the Quoran tells them to do. A regular muslim will do the DECENT thing because that is what God would really want them to do.
