F9/11 getting shut out is a big deal. I would have thought that F9/11 would have at least received an nomination for Documentary Feature. Hollywood just slapped Michael Moore hard. It will be interesting to see the spin in the media on the shutout of F9/11. It will also be interesting how the loony left reacts to this slight of M.M.

The Passion of the Christ getting 3 nominations isn't that bad considering that Mel Gibson didn't bother to run a campaign to get the film nominated by the Oscar in any category.

Michael Moore knew that his campaign for best picture was not going very well. That is why he tried to deflect the blame to those on the right a few weeks ago: Michael Moore: Right Wingers Stealing My Oscar

Only to Michael Moore. The film did not get nominated in any other category because Moore only submitted it in one: Best Picture.
