A "pro-life" Senator or Representative who does not favor the use of Article 3 of the Constitution to remove abortion from the purview of the Supreme Court is a PLINO.

Only if your definition of "pro-life" includes being blind to reality.

There is no way, 1.) you can remove anything from the Supreme Court's purview Constitutionally (no matter what the crackpot theories of some might say, and 2.) politically, that will not happen now. Politics is the art of the possible, not a wish list you can send to Santa Claus.

I really don't know how to answer you. Not that
I don't understand the problems you raise or
wouldn't want them corrected NOW.

My problem is that the government is just a bit
more complex then you seem to think and one must
understand what the climate is like. I don't
take the weather mans word for it, I look for
myself before leaving that coat at home.

Wearing blinders or having tunnel vision can put
the Republicans out of power in a heart beat. I
would think 40 years in the wilderness would be
enough for you.

There is the entire spectrum in the Republican
party from liberal to conservatives. What I see
are very few on the left, most in the middle right
and a large minority on the far right. That is
the way it seems to be at least to me.

Only children demand: I want what I want when I
want it and really expect to get it right then
and there.

I guess my answer to you is that a trip of a
thousand miles starts with the first step.

So that you know where I am coming from, I am an
Independent. Conservative in most things, size of
government and economy and moderate in many social
issues but not all.

Incorrect. Congress did it in the nineteenth century several times, then seemingly forgot that they had the power.

There are a few things specifically listed in the Constitution as being in the Supreme Court's jurisdiction. In all other things, their jurisdiction is subject to being limited by an act of Congress signed into law by the President.
