Hey, maybe we could push Republican frugality in the '06 campaigns? Everyone knows that only wild-spending Democrats would use our hard-earned money to raise congressional and staffer salaries!

There needs to be some major cutting of salaries. The pay rates should be tied to some multiplier of 'average salary'.
