Do you remember the first thing Specter said after getting the Judiciary Chairmanship it was something to the effect that his first prirority was to get Santorum re-elected. While that is the first thing that Specter and I have agreed upon in a decade, it does smell of quid pro quo.

D.C. is a rotten place and no one stays pure forever. With that said, I don't think it is reasonable expect our guys to be pure.

I did delete my post in the sake of comity, but post 99 was over the top. This isn't about 04. It's about '06 and a counter-productive movement to remove Santorum from office in retribution for peceived slights and betrayals. That's nonconservative. Besides, this isn't a FR event, and I don't follow anyone from thread to thread. I get pinged into Specter threads by a mischevous instigator (jmc813) and I bite happily.

People who are going to CPAC are not going to have one less iota of party fun because of my comments here. Badray is a funloving and jocular guy. I just don't like the destructive (IMO) politics he plays.
