The Viking Kitties should slap every one of these Norse idjuts in the head with a herring.

Well, it's obvious what must be done. The University of Texas must ban this gesture so as not to upset the Norwegians. It's the right and politically correct thing to do. We don't want to alienate our European neighbors, do we?....... WELL?!

I have seen several different versions of this story and isn't it interesting how the headlines keeps saying how Bush displayed a "Satanic" or "devil" sign and then the article explains how it was no such thing.
Why (of course, I know why) isn't the headline "College sign confuses Europe" or some such? With the article explaining what the oh-so sophisticated and more learned than we Americans THOUGHT it meant?
And the media wonders why they are reviled.

Imagine how "shocked" they'll be when they actually feel another old Texas symbol: a boot up their pansy, socialist ass!
Screw Europe.

Even if it were a Satanic hand symbol, why does it shock the Europeans? Majority of them are self-proclaimed atheists so wouldn't the existence of Satan go against their spiritual beliefs?

As a UT Alumni and a citizen of Texas, the sight and sounds of the UT Marching band warmed my heart on a cold and windy day. To hear them crank up "The Eyes of Texas" brought a tear to my eye and a song to my heart.
The norwegians will get over it.....Hook'em Horns

I'm guessing that Norway doesn't have a seperation of church & State if this hand signal has something to do with Satan.

Where I grew up, that gesture meant Bull S**t.
