Eagles 27
Falcons 13
Philly finally gets to the Super Bowl by shutting down Vick's running game and forcing him to have to throw.
Patriots 27
Steelers 24 (OT)
Okay, let me set the scene for this one. Two very good teams fighting it out in the bitter cold. The Steelers have a 24-21 lead with under a minute to go in the game. Brady drives the Pats into field goal range and with just two seconds on the clock, Vinatieri drills a 49-yarder right through the uprights! Longest field goal in Heinz field history! We go into overtime!
Then the Steelers win the coin toss and get the ball. Big Ben drives them to the 20 yard line! Field goal unit comes on the field to win it for the Steelers. But Bruschi BLOCKS THE FIELD GOAL! Bruschi BLOCKS THE FIELD GOAL! Holy crap! Tom Brady then drives the Pats right back down the field but the Pats are stopped to where Vinatieri must attempt a 50-yard field goal INTO THE WIND! The Steelers call a timeout to "ice" Vinatieri. The crowd is going absolutely bonkers. Vinatieri then lines up and drills it perfectly. Will it be long enough! Everybody at Heinz stadium is holding their breath as the ball tumbles and tumbles and tumbles through the air, curving in the wind so that it lines up right smack between the uprights and the ball HITS THE CROSSBAR AND JUST BOUNCES OVER! It is good! It is good!
PATRIOTS WIN! PATRIOTS WIN! Adam Vinatieri is the GREATEST KICKER IN NFL HISTORY! All across the country, people are having heart attackes! What a game! What a game!
Look for a repeat performance from the Patriots. Vinatieri will score early and often, hitting 3 field goals and 2 xp's. The 1-dimensional Steeler O will be shut down as Benny Boy turns the ball over at least twice. Look for Brady to play a "smart" game as usual. Dillon rushes for 100+ and scores a TD.... Def/Sp.Teams puts up a TD for the Pats.... can't wait for Jacksonville!!!!
TOMMEEEEEEEE BRAY-DEEEEEEEEEEE clap,clap, clap-clap-clap!!!!!
I want the Eagles to lose. They showed all the fans and how worked up they are this morning. I hate to say it but I want to see them depressed.
It will be cold
Excellent!
And it will be windy!
New England 40, Pittsburg 9
Just go to Weather.com
Ben Roethlisberger undefeated in the NFL
Corey Dillon set a record for Patriots rushing in 2004
So? The Pats never had a good RB big deal. Dillon historically not great vs. Pittsburgh.
Ty Law broke foot against the Steelers in October. The very next play Steelers scored a touchdown by throwing to area of Law's replacement. That will not happen again.
The Pats signed Hank Poteat last week. He was responsible in part for them beating the Steelers in 2001 when he choked for Pittsburgh.
Steelers are not ready for prime time.
Steelers lost only 4 games in the last decade in PIME TIME
We'll see at around 10:00pm, eh? Good luck, they may need it.
Nope, not today.
No reason to say "sorry".
I just don't see the Pampered Pats beating the Snow Stack Stillers smack dab in the middle of a blistering blizzard, in Pitiful Pittsburgh P A for that matter.
Did I say it's gonna be awful cold on that soggy turf today? Beaucoup bouncing balls as their wrested from the garglous grasps of the Primpin' Pats.

Steelers over Patriots 27 - 24
Eagles over Falcons 28 - 17
oops, that's "PRIME" TIME
As much as I like the Falcons to win, I think the Eagles are due. If they lose their 4th straight NFC Championship game, heads are going to roll. Also, New England may not be the same team that lost to the Steelers on Halloween, but the Steelers are a team of destiny this year. I think it's their time to go back to the Super Bowl. If the Falcons win, you know it will be loud in Jacksonville on Super Bowl Sunday because Atlanta is the closest city to Jacksonville.
Current temp, here in the "Burgh's" burbs, 7F wind chill -9F. BBBBRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrr!
How about Catherine Zeta-Jones?
