Perry keeps getting his ducks.... er votes lined up.... It looks like he is about to force KBH to have to rethink her bid for the Gov's position. I really don't see Strayhorn as that much of a contender in the Gov. race.

I don't think Perry will have much problem getting re-elected. Most of his opposition comes from the left within the Party, and they can't win a primary election in this state unless they're unopposed.

Some people oppose him because of a specific issue such as the TransTexas Corridor, but those things aren't even on the radar of most voters.

Yes, she did outpoll Perry statewide in the 2002 general election, but she had a weaker opponent than he did.
