I was teasing! But as all rules are gone, is it still wrong to wear white to a wedding? Used to be you couldn't wear black, but now everyone does. And pants? I wear pants everywhere. In fact at my daughter's wedding, the mother in law had on pants. That sort of shocked me.
Katie's dress is not a winter dress. Actually it sort of a mardi gras dress if you ask me, for a warm Mardi Gras.

I guess I am more old-fashioned than I thought, but I can't help but wonder how personally meaningful the Trump wedding could have been with such a circus. I think you hit it,,it does remind me of some of Carrie's crazy outfits. Remember the one with the bow and the short ruffle. Actually the colors remind me of Lilly Pulitzer which has had a comeback.
