According to This Site, one of the founders of Public Agenda is Daniel Yankelovich, who is also been pretty busy donating to Democratic campaigns such as John Kerry.

The other founder is Cyrus Vance, who i couldnt find on Open Secrets but he was Secretary of State under Jimmy Carter.
