And I still can't find abortion rights anywhere in my copy of the constitution. But then they make up their own laws anyway regardless of constitutionality with the oligarchy of their chosen courts to back 'em up if the people get uppity.
Another thing that happened was that during the hour before the walk began, during the speeches, songs and prayers, the protest crowd was approaching down Market street and other streets and were attempting to surround us. The police did not let them do this, so they were held back and they tried to interrupt with loud yelling, chants and drum beating (lol). Amazing Grace was sung, and a few prayers were offered after the welcome and guest speeches, and the protest crowd tried to drown it out. (They did not succeed though.) It was an amazing and historical moment, imo, to be hearing hymns and prayers to God openly on the streets of San Francisco. I'm glad I was there to witness it.
