The PURPOSE of the Party, if elected, will be to provide a "CHOICE" to all the residents and voters of BC to begin the diplomatic negotiations to become the 51st State of The United States of America. This will be accomplished with the "VOICE" and input of all the citizens of British Columbia and their

Good morning,

I was directed to your discussion yesterday, so thought I might just introducce myself and see if anyone out there had any questions or comments they'd like to fire at me regarding Annexation BC and our goal of seeking US Statehood for BC and perhaps other CDN provinces?

My name is R. Gordon Brosseuk and I am the founder of Annexation BC.

you people should stop this nonesense. No one in the north want to be part of the US. Why would they trade one tyrant for another?

Sorry for the delayed reponse, I'm writing 3 letters this morning,

My first question would be, why do you feel US Statehood is nonsense? What do you fear?
My other reply is, Yes there is a large and growing number of people in the North that would welcome such a move.
As far as trading tyrants, don’t you want a tyrant that most affects everything that goes on over here? One who is forced by the Constitution to be accountable to the people? One that your vote and voice would have a say in whether he or she is, or is not, the next tyrant of our home and native land?
What happens in the US everyday affects us directly and always has.
Western CDNs need to sit at the table that most affects them (the US one) as equals with the same set of rules, regulations, privileges and responsibilities as our brothers and sisters in Washington state, Oregon, California, Alaska and Idaho to name a few. Then not only would we make a difference for BC, we ALL would have a stronger Western American, North America and Voice in Washington, DC. Then if we didn’t like the way our tyrants were running things, we’d kick them out. Just imagine for a moment what we here in a United North American Union of States could do for America!!!

Reply on Paul Willcocks BC Politics and Life.

I’m enjoying reading all of the comments and responses on Annexation BC, but I wanted to comment directly on your mention regarding BC’s need for a push for transportation.

To let everyone know been in contact with Gov. Murkowski’s office in Alaska over the last 18 months and he has made public a pledge of over $25, Billion USD towards improvements and construction of much more infrastructure for BC, Alberta, the Yukon and Alaska. In the areas of oil and gas pipelines, rail lines, highways like the continuation of I 5 from Blaine, Wash. all the way to Anchorage, AK. Fiber optics, etc, etc.
I have also spoken to others in the US who feel that Washington, DC will match his pledge dollar for dollar and perhaps more if we were to become a US state.

Our CDN politicians responded coldly and have managed to sweep such a huge announcement under the carpet and quite. I feel it is because if a solid link were formed between Alaska and the lower 49, Canada wouldn’t have the Americans over a barrel forcing them to have to buy our products like forest, gas, oil, etc anymore. Sadly it is the game that the CDN politicians and the US politicians play at the people’s expense. Canada keeps them away from Alaska’s resources and the Americans play hardball with NAFTA and CDN forest products and Mad Cow. If we were only to erase that stupid, out-dated, invisible line or wall that Britain built to separate us from our America brothers and sisters to the North and South, then we wouldn’t have all this fooling around and the North West would instantly become America’s newest frontier for jobs, success and prosperity improved North American homeland security.

Gov Gord. :)
