Yes, the Saturday cartoons of Spongebob and other characters are, IN AND OF THEMSELVES, innocent. This is not the point.
The point: the video being sent to 61,000 schools, which happen to have Spongebob (and other characters) IS NOT INNOCENT.
The video has a goal. Along with it specially prepared curriculum, it is USING Spongebob and other innocent characters) as a means to promote certain ideas to children. Those ideas include acceptance of homosexuality as "normal."

Reading and hearing so many comments over the years, here and elsewhere, it's pretty clear there are people who verge upon apoplectic fits whenever the mere word "homosexual" is uttered. While the 'persuasion' may well be un-natural, it's been practiced for millenia. It's presence in the world hasn't yet caused the destruction of human-kind, by deity or by disease or by social chaos.

I'm with you but as you can see on FR people are not always normal. They don't seem to mind, as long as it is their beloved Sponge Bob! I assume these tapes are going to our lovely public schools?
