WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) --Shots were fired early this morning at an exotic night club in West Palm Beach.
A woman went to the Flashdance Exotic Night Club after it closed today to talk to the owner about getting a job. She asked the owner if her two friends could go in with her.
The owner let them in, and then the two male friends beat up the owner. The woman applying for the job beat and tied up the cleaning lady.
The owner managed to pull out a gun while the men were kicking him. He fired shots but Palm Beach sheriff's officials don't know if anyone was hit.
All of the robbers took off. One of the suspects threw a stool out a window to get out.
Officials are looking for the suspects and K-9 units are also checking the area.
possible story for your list
More sloppy "journalism" from the AP (Apparatchik Propagandists): she wasn't a job applicant, she was posing as a job applicant to gain entry to the establishment. In fact, the attackers may not even have been robbers. For all we know from the information presented, this could have been a vendetta or some other criminal act.
Sounds like a friendly place to stop and have a drink...maybe meet a nice girl.
You would of course never see a headline like, "Bar Owner Uses Gun to Thwart Attack."
I suppose giving the owner a free lap dance was out of the question.
it sounfds liek the two guys gave him a lap dance anda rib dance anda stomach dance until he pulled out the gun he does need to work on his gun controlif you shoot at that closeand the cops cant tell if you hit anyone then you gotta get to the range more ofton
Yeah and whats with the broad beating up the cleaning lady.I would look in at the fetish clubs this woman is a dominatrix.
Strip joints have cleaning ladies? Who knew?
"One of the suspects threw a stool out a window to get out."
Must have been hyping on an iron suppliment.

LOL :0
If shots are fired and no one is hit, is it a shooting?
What it is is a shooting. What it is not is a hitting. Pity!
Me too.
It probably came out of the Florida AP Bureau from some overnight newbie and hasn't passed through the NY General Desk cleanup for style and grammar.
What's also missing is attribution for the events at the scene. There's no "according to police reports" or "Police spokesman Bubba Bodine said..."
Very curious. I don't know how this made it on the wire.
For ten dollars.
Correction, there's one mention of Palm Beach Sheriff's officials not knowing if anyone was hit, but we don't know how they don't know this.
Still curious.
