State Senator (Demoncrat) Accused Of Punching Traffic Cop Says He Did Nothing Wrong

State Senator Kevin Parker of Brooklyn says he did nothing wrong, despite his arrest Thursday for allegedly punching a city traffic agent who was trying to give him a ticket.

The Democrat spoke to the media Friday, reading a statement about the incident. The senator, who is facing third-degree assault charges, took no questions.

Police say when a traffic agent tried to give Parker a ticket for double-parking on Avenue H in Flatbush Thursday evening, the senator allegedly grabbed it, crumpled it up, then threw it in the agent's face, before punching the man.

However, in a press conference with reporters this evening, Parker said he was actually the victim.

“I wanted to let the public know that I am innocent of all the charges that were filed against me," said Parker. "This was a minor traffic accident that was blown out of proportion by an overzealous traffic agent eager to cover up his own misdeeds. And in fact, I’m the victim in this particular incident.”

The union for the traffic agent, who suffered minor injuries, says Parker was out of line.

“He was loud, he threatened the agent, he told the agent that he was going to take his job away from him, and eventually that culminated in fisticuffs,” said Robert Cassar of Local 1182.

This isn't the first time Parker has been accused of becoming abusive in public. An opponent in last year's Democratic primary claims Parker assaulted him twice on the campaign trail, although no charges were filed in connection with either alleged incident.

Parker maintains he'll be exonerated this time as well.

“As a lawmaker I have complete confidence in the criminal justice system,” said the senator.

Parker added he is expecting an apology from the traffic agent.

“As a lawmaker I have complete confidence in the criminal justice system,” said the senator.

Here he explains exactly why he has nothing to fear.

Douche-ocrats, always playing the victim.....
He DEFINITELY punched the cop, based on his response alone.

Democrats are never responsible for their actions. Its that damn police officer's fault that he got punched by a State Senator.

Senator Parker received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Service from Penn State University, where he organized students to fight racism and encourage diversity at the University.

What a clown. Our country needs to grow up.

We look pathetic to the rest of the world, and we are.

"“As a lawmaker I have complete confidence in the criminal justice system,”"

Because he knows who's wheels to grease. Is this an admission of his intent to use his influence to break the laws of the land? Throw this idiot in jail for the full term this crime calls for. Democrats are all ex-convicts and crooks. It's no suprize that he has the same arrogant attitude as John Kerry.
