TYLER, Texas - (KRT) - Two hours of grainy surveillance video captures every chilling detail.
A man with a gym bag lurks for hours, eyeing the dwindling parade of late-night Wal-Mart shoppers, waiting for just the right victim.
Just before midnight Wednesday, a smaller figure walks toward a truck at the edge of the parking lot.

The fact that this perverted animal was a Marine explains it all! /sarcasm mega
sb Was at one time a Marine
Kill him. And I don't want to hear any of this "distraught Iraq veteran" crap. Garbage in - garbage out.
Here we go...
Watch the pro-terrorist liberal news media try to make this a story of a poor ex-Marine, victim of Bush's Vietnam. Just like they did the gangster out in Ceres, CA.
"He said this is a robbery. Give me your money out of the register," the retiree said. "All I see was this automatic coming out of his sweatshirt, coming up toward me, and I drew mine and fired."
Good for him.
Bush's fault...of course.
"Once a Marine, always a Marine" does not apply to sh*tbirds that eat a Big Chicken Dinner and disgrace our uniform.
Let Rev. Williams pray for his soul, because we don't want him.
***Williams was a preacher's son who graduated from John Tyler High School in Tyler and joined the Marines a year later despite having had some trouble with the law. He was arrested in 1999 on a charge of criminal trespass and twice more in 2000 for a series of traffic violations, authorities said.***
Why do I suspect that some judge told the guy "You can either go into the Military or go to jail" and again because some recruiter was taking a criminal misfit it will be charged that the Military made him a monster.
Firefighter deserves notes of congratulations from the whole country.
I wish the bullet got in his face instead of just powder burns - that...animal isn't fit to live. It must be put down.
Don't worry. He'll be given a fair trial and then strapped to a gurney in about 8-10 years. Justice may be delayed but it's not denied in TX.
True - as long as it's not a murder within Harris County (Houston area) - crime lab/specimens here are corrupt. *sigh* so they say.
Yeah, this guy is one cool customer. Packs the heat and isn't shy about using it for the common good. He needs to work on his aim though, he only wounded the animal.
I think the media reports should say whether or not criminals are liberals and/or democrats after crimes too! That'd be quite interesting...
This is why an overwhelming percentage of military people are conservatives, not liberals.
The slant on this is that the military did this to him, made him what he is.
How then, do we explain the multitude and vast majority of other violent criminals who have never been in the military or at war?
By this standard, it was the social programs of the Left, the welfare state that made them what they are. /SARCASM OFF
One thing is for sure, as you mentioned, that guy is no longer living up to the standard of a Marine.
I have relatives who are Marines....and I am also lucky enough to know quite a few Rangers.
And there seems to be a common rule there.
As the Sgt. Major at the RTB once put it.....when a man stops living up the the creed and moral standards that are demanded of a Ranger...then the man stops being a Ranger.
He didn't return any "better" than when he went in and leaving his family. Evil is as evil does.
"He said this is a robbery. Give me your money out of the register," the retiree said. "All I see was this automatic coming out of his sweatshirt, coming up toward me, and I drew mine and fired."
Good for the armed clerk. He stopped a vicious murderer. But a 24 year-old is a retiree after 3 years in the military? You can see the media spin coming now.
Williams is evil, he murdered that 19 year-old girl because he had no respect for her life. Huntsville will take care of his life.
I almost made a comment on the other thread that I was surprised the libs didn't have "Former Marine Murders Wal-Mart Employee" as the headline.
There is no depth these maggots won't sink to.
