The next act was Macy Gray. She sang something forgettable, then went into a discussion honoring Che Guevara. I don't recall what she said, but her words were words of admiration and respect. We walked out at this point.
I just did a search on her lyrics, assuming that the talk on Che was an intro to a song, but found nothing.But based on my experience, I think it fair to assume that anyone who loves Che, would not support Bush.
BTW, Dennis Hopper is a hell of an actor, IMHO. Red Rock West being a favorite of mine for his performance.
No argument there. And I've always thought there was something screwy about Macy Gray--don't like here music anyway. But there's something odd about this story. The guest list doesn't jibe.
Hopper IS a great actor. If you doubt me, check out the scene in TRUE ROMANCE where he faces off with Christoper Walken--one of the greatest in movie history (unless you're Sicillian, that is). Hint--Hopper is the normal one.
