I'm glad he's willing to accept the consequences. My point is that he's been in for 12 years. He knew he could be called to combat. He is reneging on his obligation and I have no sympathy.

Sandy, help me out here: I've never been in the military, but it's always been my understanding that in order to achieve CO status one must be against war period, not just against this particular war.
