A Good Conduct medal is given to all service members who haven't really screwed up and served 3 years.

We used to call it "three years of undetected crime."

We called the combat action ribbon (Vietnam) the sitting duck medal. ;-)

Instead of giving this guy a bunch of publicity, just stick in Leavenworth for 10years.
