We shouldn't take the bait and go for such ideas as this. At least not this year.
Bush is the leader. He has given us our mission. First SocSec reform so my grandchildren can be rich in their retirement.
Then income tax reform, so I can get mine.
I think we should implement the fair tax (www.fairtax.org).
It would save hassle and we could pay off our national debt within a year and a half.
bump
It is dangerous to drive at night now. The only paints the EPA allows on roads do not work anywhere near as well as the epoxy paints.
Driving in the rain at night is particularly dangerous by mid-winter, because most of the road paint is gone and you cannot tell where the road is.
I would really like to get a campaign going to force the EPA to allow epoxy road paints.
It would save thousands of lives lost in traffic accidents every year.
Golly, who'd a thought it???
And, besides, they just about destroyed New York by letting the ghosts out and the keeping the ghostbusters in( that is the correct EPA, right).
I believe your right!! and that Marshmellow Dude too!!
LoL. "Pay off our national debt in a year" That is hysterical. Do you even know what the National debt amounts to?
I doubt we could even pay off our deficit (ie., balance the budget), much less $7.6 trillion.
There aren't very many regulatory agencies I would like to see still around. The EPA is one I would like to see dissapear.
I don't think we could do it even if we DID have the money. Most treasurys aren't callable. (I just did a search in my scottrade account and didn't see any callable treasury notes issued after 1985)
We have very little contact with the EPA. Most of their emphasis is on Water and Air Quality, which has been assumed by the State agencies. The Endangered Species Act falls under NOAA Fisheries for salmon and other anadromous fish and U.S. Fish and Wildlife for other fish and wildlife. Also, the federal land and reosurce management agencies - the Bureau of Land management, Bureau of Reclamation and U.S. Forest Service get involved through their management responsibilities in the endangered species act.
That great "conservative" Nixon gave us the EPA.
I don't recall which politician said it, but he warned that the EPA would become the American version of the Gestapo destroying business and property.
Thanks, Tricky Dick, you piece of RINO garbage..
BTTT!!!!!!
