If that is the kind of thing you think needs to be criticized, then you are obviously TRYING to be obstinate to what I felt was a spectacular day, and a fabulous Inaugural speech.

His criticism wasn't that Bush started thinking about the speech too early; his criticism was that given all the time he had to prepare a sppech, he didn't express himself as clearly as he could have.
