Peggy Noonan finds the end of the President's speech "a little grating". After having read her book about her experience in speech writing for Reagan, I'm left to wonder if Peggy isn't defending her own legacy a little too strongly. I like many things that she has written, but now is not the time for her jealousy to come forward.

Pres and Mrs Bush and their daughters Jenna and Barbara look absolutely amazing. Just hearing Pres Bush being sworn in today bought tears to my eyes.

Rudy gives wonderful expression to the President's speech today and dufus Alan wants to know if we can afford to make the rest of the world free. How much will it cost?
He evidently had his talking points because he was reading from a paper.
What don't the dems understand about the rest of the world being free means we will again be free and SECURE.

"My dress for the Ball was a "rerun" from other events."The most important thing was, you were there.
We're certainly looking forward to seeing some pix and reports from tonight's Freeper Ball.

Plotting, planning, sneaking around with him in the office...well, you get the picture. It's legend in DC.
Sally Quinn's a real class act. (/sarcasm)

Ding, Ding, Ding! We have a winner. They aren't on the inside and they can't rub it their buddies faces that "I'm in, you're out". neener, neener, neener. They are worse than the cliquish girls in high school. It's always about where you are on the food chain. MoDo and Sally are floating around the plankton level right now and there's not a damn thing they can do about it.

She knows that it is in her interest to support the winner.

I learned the term "empty vessel" from DU as they discussed their ABB vs. John Kerry in the primary - the honest ones admitted Kerry was their "vessel" for anybody but Bush.
Nice to see they made mainstream in some way. Oh, wait - you said CNN. My bad.
