My six-month-old, who is quite large, is just over 20 pounds. Pregestational diabetes was a worry for us, too, but never turned out to be a problem. Best to both.

I gave birth to my second son, almost 10 pounds, the usual way. It took my body six months to get over it. He was 20 pounds at 3 months and 30 pounds at one year. Now he's an average size man. 150# and 5'11"

The late Dan Blocker(Hoss Cartwright)weighed 17 pounds at birth. He was the biggest baby born in Texas.
