They used to say nasty things about Troy Aikman being gay too! I wish the press would spend as much time wondering how a former National Security Advisor could "accidentally" shove 50 pages of top secret information out of the NATIONAL ARCHIVES, for crying out loud!

Any woman that would appear in a magazine, naked as the day she was born, knowing that millions of men would be looking upon her, is a trashy slut.Yeah! Ain't it great!

"I am incredibly conservative, I dress conservatively. I live conservatively. I have a very strong belief in God. I watch Rush Limbaugh on television. I'm a die-hard Republican. It never occurred to me that I couldn't pose nude and still be a Republican. Just because you're a Republican doesn't mean you have a closed mind. I believe in conservative values, traditional family values. I believe in doing my best to do the right thing, to live the right way and do the best for my daughter." God Bless America! :^)

From Baseball Think Factory Wiki, the free encyclopedia.
After long-repeated rumors of a closeted gay player were attached to him in May 2002 by New York Post gossip columnist Neal Travis, and after his manager Bobby Valentine publicly suggested baseball was ready for an openly gay player, Piazza had had it. Before a Mets game, he staged an impromptu press conference to assert his heterosexuality before the media.
There is, in fact, a noted gay activist named Michael Piazza. Rev. Michael Piazza is dean of the Cathedral of Hope, a 2,000-member Metropolitan Community Church in Dallas, which is considered the largest gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender church in the world. It's possible that someone mixed up the two, which might explain the rumors about Catcher Mike Piazza -- though certainly the mustache didn't help.
There is a gay Michael Piazza. It's just not the baseball player.

As a lifelong Yankee fan, I was very favorable to Roger Clemens in several celebrated instances involving Piazza as a batter and as an instant batters' box dust bunny. Thanks to your post (and Clemens' defection to an easy retirement in the far easier league) I am beginning to see Piazza in a wholly new and more positive light. Thanks for the info.
It is good to know that Piazza is a patriot like Clemens.

Several (like 8 or 9) years ago I went to a spring training game of the Dodgers in Vero Beach Florida. Piazza played for the Dodgers at the time. In that small stadium everyone in the stands and on the field are pretty close to one another. Not far from me three beautiful women chatted with Piazza throughout the game, and one of them was clearly his girlfriend, as I could overhear her talking about their relationship.
Yesterday when I related this incident to a guy at work who adamantly maintains that Piazza is gay, he simply discounted it as unimportant. Some guys are deeply invested in Piazza's supposed gayness. Why that is I haven't the faintest idea.
