Thanks for posting the transcript. I watched some of this interview this morning and VP Cheney & Mrs. Cheney were AWESOME. Imus did a pretty good job, considering who he supported during the election. I especially liked it when Imus asked the Cheney's if they were "seething" after Kerry's remarks about their daughter. Both of them said "Yes", and Imus seemed almost shocked to hear the answer. lol

I have mixed thoughts about Cheney going on that show

In one way I don't think he should lower himself and in another way I think it allows him more exposure to get the administartions message out.

Imus' show is good fun to watch or listen to. He gets pols from all sides on his show. He did fine with the V.P. and Mrs.Cheney.
I can't imagine anyone being able to get over on the V.P.. He is just too damn sharp for that to happen.

Both the Cheney's were great. I just wish the VP would have blasted the old coot for continuing to call him a war criminal. The VP and his wife were extremely gracious, despite the despicable nature of their host.

I loved the comments about the grandchildren getting round the VP and getting him to peel them an apple or pop corn for them just like any typical grandad would.

IMUS did a good job.

IMUS is often linked to Stern but IMUS is much more intelligent and has good political guests.
