There was no doubt about that after the Wellstone funeral. It has just mushroomed since then. I love the fact that they are incapable of rehabilitating themselves. Some were along the line, they perfected this talent for self-inebriation and political hysteria... it is truly comical to see. I have not decided if they are people prone to this and find a home in the Democratic fold or if becoming a Democrat has this affect on people.

I have not decided if they are people prone to this and find a home in the Democratic fold or if becoming a Democrat has this affect on people. Shortly after the Wellstone performance George Will observed that there is something in the Liberal culture that seems to force these people to see every single event in life through the prism of their political orthodoxy. He went on to say that this is the single worse thing for them in American politics. The majority of us see politics as a reflection of our lives not our lives as a reflection of our politics.
