Blah, I meant the bottom of the curve toward the bell of the tenor sax is located somewhere around the hip/upper thigh rather than the shorter better known alto sax which comes down to just below the player's waist. Not to be confused with the very large baritone sax which ends further down the leg and, of course, plays in the bass clef rather than the treble clef as altos and tenors do. The tenor has the more pleasant tone of all the saxes.

Unless your Hoosiermama....the tenor comes to her knees and the Baritone has to be held up while she's on her tip toes so it doesn't touch the ground.....I suspect a contributor to my back problems as an adult.
