Many Americans still take the inaguration for granted-- Don't. A peaceful ceremony bringing to power the leader of a free and open nation is still a rarity in the world we live in. It's a beautiful thing, and it's a beautiful day.

Very well said.

Amen, and thank God for His graciousness to America.

Guess where NPR was at 2:45 this afternoon? Interviewing protestors, of course! After making a nasty remark about GW's speech, they went right to the great unwashed.

You'd better believe it. There are very few things I'm more grateful to God for than that He let me be born in America, and not an oppressive hellhole like Cuba or North Korea. Nomatter what our individual circumstances, we should remember that it could always have been worse, and that we are truly "blessed and lucky" to have the many opportunities that we have in this nation.

Who was it that said that nomatter what troubles may be, "you won't see those refugees heading the other way"?
