Those are wonderful pictures. And, it is such a blessing to see the president so happy. BTW, Lynn Cheney looks smashing! Well, they all do, but Lynn does look especially great. Nice detail on the dress--sort of an Edith Head kind of touch.

Brian Wilson did a report on the Black Tie and Boots ball yesterday. He interviewed a boot shop owner. As he was about to begin describing the various skins the boots were made of, Fox News started flashing a beeping, and a voice said, "Warning, warning. If you are a member of PETA, turn your television set off now." Then the shop owner then described the snake and ostrich skins and so forth.
