They could and HAVE done worse,by listening to whomever they're listening to,than if they asked me. :-)
The Vogue spread of the twins, had them in spectacular evening gowns;age appropriate, color flattering, and well fitting. Both of them looked wonderful.
I thought their dresses were all prettier for Bush's first inauguration. Maybe tomorrow's dresses will be better.
But let me ask you a personal question. Do you wear tops that are too tight/button poppers?
And that's good for you. :-)
Hey, you asked for it...the dress is too low cut. Really it is fine with me. I would not be seen in it, then again I would not be seen in any dress except a very few.
I love Laura's dress.
I have to agree with you about the dresses. I don't like them either. Now, I'm no fashion expert by any means, but I do usually know what looks good on other people. Laura and the girls are beautiful people, but often their choices aren't that great. I've seen Laura in some really horrible outfits. She has one grey number that I've seen her wear a couple of times that looks awful. Anyway, I asked my husband what he thought of the dresses--didn't predudice him with my opinion. He didn't like any of the dresses either. He thought the designs and colors were not good. He thinks Laura looks like a schoolmarm in the dress. And this is from a guy that definitely doesn't think the twins are too hard on the eyes and that Laura has a great figure. I also think that if the same dresses were being worn by Teresa and the step-daughters alot of FReepers would be saying something different right now. Still haven't made that upside down cake yet--but I did buy the boxes of cake mix. Husband keeps eating up all the pineapple. You said in one of your postings that you can make Yorkshire pudding. I love that--mom is from England. You'll have to give me the recipie and I can buy the ingredients and not make that either.
Read through this entire thread and then ask yourself just why it is,that I am the ONLY person of many, who didn't like the dresses that the Bush women wore, whom you've decided to bait and call names, and yell at. Methinks YOU are the one with the problem, pet. ;^)
One of the twins needs to understand that y'all don't try a cleavage shot, when ya ain't got no cleavage. Series, I'm 55, and I said the same the same thing to my daughter a few years ago. LIGHT HUMOR folks! No flames necessary. BTW, I told Diana (my daughter), live with what ya got. Karen (my wife) thought the conversation was interesting and kept her mouth shut... and just smiled.
I can tell you why. You keep answering back.
I've got the pic of President Bush and Laura on top of my computer in my office.
You went after me,for NO discernible reason,on another thread, when you first got here. You do appear to be the one with issues.
Thanks for posting. I don't think any of the activities tonight were televised, with the exception of Brian Wilson (Fox) showing up on Greta's program for a few minutes from somewhere (probably the Black Tie and Boots Ball). Maybe CSPAN or the cable networks will do better tomorrow.
If I were good with HTML,I'd do a photo shop of what I said, and I know that what I said is right. :-)
The color is a red and black.
Lynne is a fox. Veep Cheney is a lucky man. Not to ruin one's appetite, can any man here decide which First or Second Lady they would prefer to have a date with? And for the Lady FReepers, the parallel question.
Tomorrow is the BIG BLOWOUT! The dresses we all remember are from the last Inaugural Ball;which this isn't. :-)
They're havin' a great time there tonight, last I heard! :-)
No offense to any of the gorgeous Bush women, but my best friend swears he's there with the most beautiful woman in the room...and she is also a Texan! (And a FReeper.. ;-)
And I think he may well be right!
God bless Texas!!!
All you need for the Yorkshire Pud is an egg, flour, milk, butter, and drippings. I'll send you the recipe...it's very easy...I promise and fail safe,if you follow my directions. You'll LOVE it.
Well, as it could have been 3 months ago, I have no idea what you're talking about. I may have had a difference of opinion with you, but, oh wait, isn't that what you're complaining about with others tonight? You just want to have a different opinion? Shall others accuse you of "going" after them because of your viewpoint? I don't think so. Besides, I have been pretty timid, especially being new.
But NOBODY else, who didn't like the dresses were even replied to at all;just me. LOL
