Jenna's dress is far too straight/columnar and unfashionable.Barbara's is a bit better,but too low,and Laura's is ill fitting (far too tight across the bust,the sleeve length is just wrong and cuts her arms at a bad place;not to mention the fact that the material is not only unbecoming,but an unflattering color),but they are all pretty women.

It's taffeta and a very old fashioned form of it.That particular double color fabric is supposed to change,as one moves and look different as the light hits it. The last time that style was fashionable,was in 1954.It's time has NOT returned;at least not in this color-way,IMHO.

The dress does NOT fit Laura well. It is too tight across the bust (flattens it out and the buttons are popping)and cuts the arms badly.

Herrera'slothes are usually so much better! We considered one of her wedding gowns for my daughter,when she got married,but in the end,bought an Amsale one,which better suited her and the one she had her heart set on,from the time she got engaged.
