When the alleged perpetrator is a man, the jury is typically expected to believe the victim in cases of date rape, and men are convicted based on such statements quite regularly. It'll be interesting to see if the same standard applies here.
If I were a juror, I'd have a hard time convicting a man or a woman of rape on no evidence other than, "But then I changed my mind ..."
Interesting, too, because rape implies sodomy of some sort, and sodomy---if I remember correctly---must involve penetration. So with this lot, someone was overly aggressive in giving the "gooseneck" here, or someone got a dose of cold feet when the lace-up Jeff Stryker 14-incher came out of the treasure drawer . . .
