Not everybody can live high on th hog the way you do.........
(Knockin' th poor President just cuz he cain't afford a fancy car like yourn. It jus ain't right)
Taft's Pierce-Arrows (1909)
Hoover's Cadillac Sixteen (as in 16 cylinders)
He got beat up in the press for taking delivery of this car in 1930, during the economic crisis... Actually, the White House paid only $300-$500/ year for cars on a lease deal with the factories, and this one was sent over by Cadillac, which wanted the advertising on its new (and magnificent) Sixteen.
FDR's armored 1942 Lincoln
They kept NYC plates on it and used it for incognito transport, when they didn't want attention.
Sorry, of course I meant it's a '92.
Measure it in TONS baby! No doubt the factory original 70's Caddys have better IED survivability than current Humvees!
Wow! That is a beauty.

I'll drive it to the hills when ah go shootin
Then you still got a good deal if it only had 80K on the clock. I hope it serves you well.
I got good service from all my Cadillacs, very few mechanical problems. That was back in the days of the really big V8 engines and the 2-1/2 ton weight, so the gas mileage was pretty awful by today's standards. I was usually well pleased if I got 12 mpg on the highway and 9 around town, and that was with premium gas.
You dang old folks and yer anti que Ford Tri Motors.
I like to let the little woman drive and shoot off the back porch. At night you can spot a deer a quarter mile away!
Now she has a Jeep, with a ragtop, and wishes to find another old Cadi... She also has a three yr old...
Hers was an ugly brown, but too good to need paint. this is style... But, I'd rather have my Towncar... made by FORD's Lincoln Division!
That thing is rat-butt ugly. Looks like a stetched out Plymouth K car from about 1986.
Oh Man!!, is that livin high off the hog or what?
RV livin is great.
Well, glad to hear your wonderful daughter didn't inherent your ill tendencies toward FORD!
Ah yes, the 472cid. Happiness in steel. I have a 502. LArgest production gas engine ever produced.
The suspension is what gets me. Such vast sprung weight that bumps cannot touch you. I have "sporty" cars too, and they have their place....but the old concept of cruising down a straight highway (common reality in Texas)....never been implemented better.
Is it true that RV's are supposed to be off road vehicles?
