This is a Jekyl and Hyde syndrome - It is a cultural and dna thing all at once.
You can catch more flies with honey so why shouldn't strangers in a strange land put on their best face and bedazzle the infidel? They know we aren't as clever and smart and righteous as they are so it's easy to put on that game face for the local yokels.
We are all easy marks and targets for islamic hegemony. They will use our own laws against us and pay the libs to enforce them by way of "diversity" and "affirmative action".
The question is - where will these "innocent islamists" be in two or three generations? Will they usurp the judiciary and make us all live under a secular version of purdah? Will we have to face a limosine liberal elite taliban that has sold their soles to the barbarian foreigners so they can have the votes and $$$ to "own" the high offices of our country?

A recent poll taken last month in
Saudi Arabia shows that bin Laden's popular support has fallen off rapidly. Now only about 25% of the Muslims living in his home country support him. BIG CHANGES are happening in the Middle East as a result of our victories in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Again: I am NOT an apologist for Islam! I am a devout Christian.
Please get off my back. Go YELL at some other Freeper or go to another message board and yell at somebody else.

Just sharing info. I thought you might like that Winston Churchill quote.

-That is good news...thanks for sharing it with me.

Do you have a link or citation to that poll or article? If so, please post it as I would like to bookmark the information. Thank you.

>"Do you have a link or citation to that poll or article?"<
- It appears Osama has dropped off in popularity due to the number of terrorist bombings in Saudi Arabia, but Saudis still like Bin Ladens position towards Israel and the US:
"Poll of Saudis shows wide support for bin Laden's views"
http://www.cnn.com/2004/WORLD/meast/06/08/poll.binladen/
"They like what he said about what's going on in Iraq and Afghanistan. Or about America and the Zionist conspiracy."
"...But what he does, that's where you see the huge drop," said Obaid, referring to the bombings that had already begun taking place inside Saudi Arabia at the time the poll was conducted."

Please do not respond to me again. As far as you are concerned, I've turned you off. Never again. Nevermore.

ed reform said it best:
"If you post pro-muslim comments in the forum, you should expect to have those comments challenged.
If you don't wish to have your opinions and beliefs challenged, perhaps you should consider lurking in the forum instead of posting."
Responding to your posts, and then when you respond back, is an *exchange*. You can not find one place where either edreform or I, "yelled at you". You were challenged, and apparently you didn't like that.
I frankly don't understand why a self professed Christian would sing the praises of *another religion* that has several verses in it saying Jesus was a blasphemer for stating He was the son of God. That is more than slightly hypocritical.
Either grow a thicker skin, or don't post controversial posts; which your posts definitely were.

No, no, no. Jesus said it best. Mathew 7:1 through 6. Sie fungieren wie verärgerte Schweine. 'Nuff said. Seien Sie leise, sprechen Sie nicht.

And notice that it was the thin-skinned one who fired off the first disparaging remarks in
reply 30, by falsely accusing
me:
"... you have already decided, basically, that 'the only good Muslims are deceased.' Or, perhaps under guard at Guantamo, Cuba..."

Obviously there are quite a few people out there who don't have a clue...how the hell do you get a "hung jury" in a case that is an obvious and outrageous abuse of government power???
