What the Neville Chamberlain of FR forgets is:
Iraq has been on the State Department list of state's sponsoring terrorism for years, even during the 90's.
Bill Clinton's justice department obtained a federal indictment against bin Laden and cited the terrorist's connections with Saddam.
Even the Senate Intelligence Committee Reports stated that:
1. Iraq provided Al Qaeda with chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear training.
2. Direct meetings took place between senior Iraqi military officers and top al Qaeda operatives between the early 90's and 2003.
3. 78 reports from different sources provided information that Hussein's military was actively training Iraqi intelligence officers for terrorist attacks against America and American interests.
During the 90's the mainstream media wrote hundreds of articles about the world's alarm at the growing relationship between Saddam Hussein and Osama Bin Laden. Do they think we can't look this stuff up?
