Thanks for the answer. For what it's worth, I do have some fond memories from the "old school" Canada. Spent some time in the area called the Lake of the Woods in the late fifties. Really nice people, though they drank their beer warm :) Caught & ate Grayling, Pike & Walleye. Had a great time.
You younger folks may find this hard to believe, but back then the Canadian Dollar was worth more than the greenback.
But this was before the Liberals took over.

Not many drink their beer warm now. And of course Lake of the Woods is partly in Minnesota, and there are still many Americans with cottages on both sides of the border. I know the area very well, can't wait to get back. I'm not a fisherman at all, but the last 3 fish I did catch were all walleye on the Winnipeg River which flows out of Lake of the Woods.
