EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (Jan. 18) - Philadelphia has long been considered one of the toughest places to play in the National Football League - with a major reason being the antics of the Eagles' notoriously rough crowd.
A few Minnesota Vikings players said some of the fans harassed their relatives at Lincoln Financial Field in Sunday's playoff game, which the Eagles won 27-14.
"It's a shame it happened, but I think they overall still had a good time," left guard Chris Liwienski said.
Quarterback Daunte Culpepper was upset about the way he said his wife was treated in the stands.
"You can boo, you can have fun with it, but when it comes to the point where you're throwing stuff and spitting on people, it's disrespectful," Culpepper said. "That's how people really get hurt. Lord knows, if I would've been up there, somebody definitely would've gotten hurt."
Some slugs are braindead stupid when stone cold sober.
Maybe it's because we witness the behavior of the Eagle fans on national TV, and the reporters seem to be telling it just like we see it.
You only have to look at one thing, to know everything you need to about Philly.
Kerry's %age in the 2004 election.....lol
Explains Kerry's vote totals, doesn't it....
And you know FOR A FACT because you spent countless hours at the Vet getting pelted by fans.
That correct?
Or were you just imitating ESPN's un-baised commentators?
As much respect as I have for the Eagles team(with the exception of TO), I will never root for them because of their low class fans. The idiots don't deserve a winner.
One does not have to watch ESPN to come to that conclusion. If you throw a rock into a pack of dogs, the one that yelps is the one that got hit.
Thanks L4B......I do regret it though because there is too much "piling on" at times - and this one I started. All the best FRiend....hope your day is going well. Be safe at the game and I hope the weather cooperates.

I remember when some spectators were making unkind comments about Jason Kidds' son several years ago (he has his father's rather large noggin) during the NBA playoffs.
Wife and kids should be in the relative safety of luxury boxes....or better yet, at home.
