No--those are good terms. Genetic testing usually refers to tests looking for single genes; genomics looks at groups of genes. This is becoming more important in drug therapy ("pharmacogenomics") where drugs are chosen based on the genomic profile of the patient increasing the liklihood of good response or fewer adverse reactions. It's the future...no doubt.
