It was not a snide remark, just that illegal hispanice have wrecked the construction jobs in his area that american workers can no longer compete or cannot do so at low wages. I am not racist(one of my bets friends in hs was black) at the least but have a problem with illegal labor and companies doing illegal practices. We all end up paying for it in the long run.
