I caught the repeat of the confirmation hearings this evening at 5:00p.m.PAC. Did anybody else catch Dr Rice's comments to Kerry, right after he mentioned that he had just come back from the Middle East(and Europe).Dr Rice,immediately said, "Senator,I know that you just got back from over there, I WOULD LIKE FOR YOU TO TELL ME WHAT YOU FOUND OUT!" I thought Kerry looked a bit sheepish when she said that.He was looking down. I was wondering when somebody would ask or question him about his foray in the Middle East.He didn't,as I recall say whether he would or not. He didn't say anything.

My pivitol moment was in 1971. We were waiting at the airport for my brother, who was coming home from Vietnam. As we walked through the terminal some hippies started spewing crap at him. I was all the sudden a very angry 11 year old and yelled back at them. How dare they do that to my brother who was a soldier!! The seeds of distrust for the leftist socialist started there.
