Washington, DC—Dick Thornburgh, Of Counsel to Kirkpatrick & Lockhart Nicholson Graham LLP and former United States Attorney General, and co-panellist Louis D. Boccardi, retired president and chief executive officer of the Associated Press, completed their independent review of the September 8, 2004 reporting and broadcast of the 60 Minutes Wednesday program regarding President George W. Bush’s Texas Air National Guard service.The findings of Thornburgh and Boccardi were submitted to CBS on January 5, 2005 in the “Report of the Independent Review Panel on the September 8, 2004 60 Minutes Wednesday Segment “For the Record” Concerning President Bush’s Texas Air National Guard Service.”
