3 - Walmart has the sheer audacity to sell CHRISTIAN books and items. That's pure blasphemy according to the left.

Walmart doesn't do anything different than Target, K-Mart or any other discounter.

It is the above THREE reasons why you are being persuaded to shun them - never mind the hypocrisy that abound with competitors of Walmart.

Well .. I like Walmart. I don't buy everything there - but I have found some wonderful bargains there. And .. I've always been treated very well by their clerks .. which is what keeps me going back.

These detractors are just that - detractors .. probably the union members who hate Walmart - too bad - I have no sympathy for them.

True enough, but I hate Walmart, and not for the reasons you listed. The truth I mourn is that the whole country is a chain. Every town the same, we could sell a kit for a "town in America in a box", down to how many McDonalds, Safeways, Starbucks and Walmarts they should have. No Ma and Pa hardware stores... they folded when Home Depot came to town. Few Ma and Pa diners, no need for them when you can go to a TGI Fridays or Applebees. Why travel any more? Everyplace looks the same as here.

I shop at local business, and avoid chains where ever possible for that reason. We still have a family owned grocery store in town, now flanked by a Fred Meyer, a Costco, and an Albertsons. I know the name of the family who owns it, their kids went to school with me. I'll shop at it till they fold.

I'd also like to point out how ironic it is that the left tries to persuade us to hate Wal-Mart by claiming that they're having a negative impact on the profits of other corporations. I thought to the left corporations = Satan. I guess they have a special hatred of Wal-Mart.
