Gotcha, I did a down load from the initial disk, that worked for a while, then died, so I went to Lexmark and got a download driver, that worked for a short while, but will keep that in mind. I do a max of 30 pages a week. I have the usual Mcafee, Spybot and Ad-wareSE (thanks to FReepers)

Try this...call McAffee and talk to the help desk. See if there's a printer virus that you can specifically scan for or check their website and enter "printer virus" into a search field. I assume you update the software regularly, right? Because your problem doesn't sound right...
