Sorry I have to dis-agree with many of these posters. We could all say these things about any "RICH" Christian entity or person in the world.

How about Mel Gibson? He made 600 Million on the Passion of the Christ? Was he using Jesus? or let's see Pres Bush a man who speaks of GOD and Jesus Christ is he using him to win elections? How about TBN or the Vatican? How about all the Christian Internet Sites that ask for donations?

IMHO Jesus knows without a doubt the intent of every MAN's HEART we don't have that ability all we do as human beings is make educated guesses.

Benny Hinn might be a Theif or he might be genuine GOD knows his heart and only GOD.

My feeling is this if he (Benny Hinn) is in countries that do not have the priviledge to know Jesus Christ who he is and what he can do for there lives and people hear about Jesus at a Hinn Crusade if it makes that person of a Hindu or Muslim or Buddah or Atheist background leave the crusade giving Jesus a chance by seeking him out through prayer and scripture I say God Bless Hinn for doing that.

Dear missyme,

Peaceful debate, don't be offended. I know you're sincere enough but I'm talking about Benny Hinn, not you.

Sorry but if anyone makes money selling spiritual things, it is WRONG, and that's the meaning of Jesus' cleansing the temple. He DOES NOT want such people inside his Church. Of course, those who prefer the sellers of turtle doves (After all, doesn't Benny Hinn promise you the Holy Spirit, i.e. dove?) are welcome to join them in the streets outside the Temple of God.

And secondly, the Gospel that he preaches is a clear contradiction of the Gospel of Christ. St Paul says that if anyone comes preaching a different Gospel, EVEN IF HE IS AN ANGEL we shouldn't receive him. But Benny Hinn is not an angel by any stretch of the imagination.

Thirdly, Have you ever read in the Bible about Jesus asking for donations?????? Think about this for a few moments.

Only St Paul asked, and that was for humanitarian work and not for evangelisation etc.

I have more to tell you but will patiently await your reply first.

God bless you and please realise that I am serious, I'm not just trying to bash Hinn.

Adrian

Just because I personally think Hinn has gone into perverting the Word of God does not mean I think whether a person has money or not decides whether they are right or wrong with God.

I agree with you that God looks at the intent of the heart.

It might be wrong in Gods eyes to reject the prosperty that His word promises us.

My opinion on the riches America has been blessed with is that it was given, to be used to preach the gospel to all the nations. Not so that Christians could have a TV in every room, and drive fancy cars.

missyme......I have no idea whether you even take your time to read through my posts fully but I must say that with every other posts you make I am all the more appalled at your stark ignorance you display when you choose to comment on a country and its people about whome you know nothing. And I find it all the more tiresome and futile to provide explaination and I hope this will be my last one. In response to your comment (given in bold) let me tell you again that we in India had the priviledge to know Jesus Christ who he is and what he can do much before Christianity went to Europe. As I said in my earlier post Christianity came to India before it reached Europe and India is not new to Christianity. To me it seems that in your eagerness to spread the word of your (Christian) God you have actually been reveling in ignorance.

Let me clarify that I have nothing against Benn Hinn and for my part and on behalf of my countrymen I welcome him to India. And for my part I never made any argument against him. However might I also add that we in India have also known people ("Men of God" or "Charlatan" whatever you call them) who claimed that their (Hindu) God gave them powers to heal. So as one would expect there were plenty of those people too who vouched in favour of those claims. You may not be aware of this but people are India are not new to the experiance of healing as they claim but they give the credit to a God other than Jesus. And they hold as much zeal and conviction as you do. Just that you dont know about them and their God.

Now if the claims are true then Jesus isnt the only God capable of doing such miracles and if the claim are false then the fact is that Charlatan are common to every religion. Now it is for you to decide which it the truth.
